PIRETIKOL
PIRETIKOL® SYRUP : Paracetamol Oral suspension 250 mg/5 ml 100 ml

Mechanism of Action: Paracetamol has a clinically proven analgesic/antipyretic effect. The analgesic effect is believed to be associated with an increase in the pain threshold, and the antipyretic effect works via influence on the thermoregulatory center in the hypothalamus. Studies of single-dose use of paracetamol in children with fever show that body temperature starts decreasing within 15–30 minutes after administration.

Therapeutic indications: Piretikol is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and as an antipyretic. It can be used for symptomatic treatment of: Headache, Migraine, Neuralgia, Toothache and teething pain, Sore throat, Fever( including post-immunization fever).

Dosage and administration: Expressed in Paracetamol 15 mg/kg up to 4
- times(6–8 years: 5 ml, 8–10 years : 7.5 ml , 10–12 years: 10 ml, 12–16 years: 10–15 ml ,Adults and children over 16 years : 10–20 ml.

Important Safety Notes: Dosing frequency is not more than 4 times daily with an interval of at least 4 hours between doses., The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days.
