This randomized clinical trial, known as the Larch Study, evaluated two multilevel interventions designed to improve adherence to annual lung cancer screening (LCS) with low-dose computed tomography (LDCT). The trial was conducted at Kaiser Permanente Washington among patients who had completed LCS with normal findings

Setting: Kaiser Permanente Washington integrated healthcare system
Sample: 1,837 participants (mean age 66.3 years; 48.8% female)
Tobacco Status: 47.6% currently using tobacco
Timeline: November 21, 2022 – April 5, 2024 (last follow-up: July 4, 2025)
