I am a quantitative researcher and data scientist with a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences, specializing in Data Science, from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Rwanda, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. My academic and research background has given me strong experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, mathematical modeling, programming, and evidence-based research. My postgraduate training covered areas including statistical regression, statistical machine learning, big data analytics, databases, neural networks, data-driven optimization, and Python programming. I have also gained practical research experience through a Climate Adaptation Research internship, where I developed my ability to investigate complex topics, work with evidence, and communicate technical information clearly. My research background includes mathematical and statistical modeling of complex patterns, strengthening my ability to synthesize technical information and explain quantitative concepts in an accessible way. As an author, I am particularly interested in contributing evidence-based content at the intersection of data science, research, and healthcare. The topics I plan to cover include medical and health data analysis, statistics in medical research, machine learning and artificial intelligence in healthcare, mathematical and statistical modeling, interpretation and visualization of health-related data, research methodology, and the responsible use of data-driven methods in healthcare. My goal is to produce clear, well-researched, and accessible content that helps learners and professionals understand how quantitative and computational methods can be applied to health and medical research.
